GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) -- A 39-year-old man was arrested by the Williamson County Sheriff's Office after he was accused of assaulting two people, including a 6-year-old child last week, the agency confirmed in a news release.At approximately 5 a.m., Sept. 11, WCSO deputies responded to a disturbance at a home located in the 300 block of Rock Mill Loop in Georgetown, the release said.According to the investigation, detectives determined Logan forced entry into a home armed with a baseball bat and assaulted two people, including a 6-year-old. Southbound E-470 at Peña Boulevard is open after a tractor-trailer crash closed the highway for most of the afternoon, according to E-470 officials.A semi-truck crossing the center median caused the crash, breaking through the cable barrier into oncoming traffic and colliding with vehicles headed southbound, E-470 spokesperson Jessica Carson wrote in an email. The crash was first reported at 1:22 p.m., according to the Colorado State Patrol.The collision closed southbound E-470 but was easily detoured by taking the Peña exit, Carson wrote. A high-ranking official with the Los Angeles Police Department has been placed on administrative leave after allegations he used an Apple AirTag to stalk another officer he was allegedly in a romantic relationship with, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times. The officer who made the allegations against LAPD’s Assistant Chief Al Labrada said she found the tracking device in a waterproof Pelican box inside of her vehicle and that the device was traced back to his city-issued smartphone. She filed a report about the tracking device with the Ontario Police Department on Sept. 7.
