We help great entrepreneurs with great ideas make a great deal of money

So what’s your problem?

It’s tough out there. As if coming up with a great idea wasn’t a big enough challenge. You know you need funding, but how on earth do you go about getting it? Nowadays you can’t just bang out a business plan and throw in the odd spreadsheet. Today’s investors are too sophisticated. And crowdfunding is a minefield.

How we can help…

We run highly effective courses to get you investment ready. We use our experience and know-how gained from years of running significant international companies, our 16 years of angel investing and raising funds for our own businesses, our mentoring, course judging and lecturing on fundraising at European business schools, plus our worldwide contacts to slingshot you to success.

We also do it just for you. If, after the course, you’d like us to help you individually, then we offer our sophisticated ‘ONE-TWO-THREE-FOUR’ programme where we concentrate on ONE company (yours), over a TWO month period, where THREE members of the Heaton Camillo team dedicate FOUR half days to get your company investment ready.

The ‘Investment Ready’ Course

WHAT DO YOU GET?

Course objective:

We give you the tools and the confidence to run your own crowdfunding or angel investment campaign.

It’s a classroom based training course that will help you: refine your strategy, build a convincing financial model, determine your funding needs and pre-money valuation, prepare a VC standard set of documents, get you pitch perfect, and guide you all the way to getting the money in the bank.

After the course:

You get access to our exclusive library of supporting docs and on-line references.
Inclusion in the HC Alumni and opportunity to attend regular post course events.

Why’s It So Good?

The course leader, Julian Costley, is a mentor, course judge and regular lecturer on fundraising at London Business School and at other business schools around Europe.

He has packaged that business school process into a one-day course that pretty much guarantees to increase your chance of running a successful funding campaign.

After a senior career at Thomson Reuters, France Telecom, and briefly BSkyB, he co-founded the Internet stockbroking firm E*TRADE UK and secured an exit at the height of the dotcom boom.

Since then he’s been an angel investor. He’s backed 17 companies, raised funds or served on the boards of many more and seen hundreds of business plans.

So there’s a wealth of experience and know-how as to what investors want and how to help you get organised to encourage them to invest.
