OSLO, Norway (AP) — Russian soccer club Dynamo Moscow said Norwegian midfielder Mathias Normann terminated his contract with the team and left Russia after a drone strike on buildings near the neighborhood where he lived.Normann was one of the few players from western Europe to play for a Russian club after the country’s military invasion of Ukraine started in February last year, a decision that saw him exiled from Norway’s national team. Normann was contracted to Rostov when Russia started the war but was then on loan to Norwich in the English Premier League. He later returned to Russia to join Dynamo on loan.FIFA passed interim rules after the war began allowing players from abroad who were then with clubs in those countries to suspend their contracts.Dynamo chief executive Pavel Pivovarov told Sport Express in comments reported late Wednesday that Normann cited security reasons for terminating his contracts with the club and Rostov. WEST LIBERTY, Iowa (AP) — Bob Molsberry was a college student when he first watched the recreational bike ride that organizers say is now the country’s longest, largest and oldest. That was in 1973, and there were just a few hundred riders in RAGBRAI (the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa). The following year, he and his wife joined in, starting what has become a family tradition. This year, the ride celebrated its 50th anniversary in July, with anywhere from 30,000 to 60,000 riders taking part on any given day.Molsberry, a retired United Church of Christ minister who was paralyzed when he was hit by a car while riding 26 years ago, loves meeting people from all walks of life on the annual trek across Iowa. The camaraderie built over seven days and 500 miles, often through painfully rolling hills and withering late-summer heat, feels irreplaceable. He also likes that thousands of cyclists in a deeply divided nation can leave their attitudes, beliefs and pen...Hudson Global: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

DENVER (KDVR) — No one understands Colorado quite like someone who has lived here, and that certainly rings true when it comes to a few "facts" -- or rather myths -- that have perpetuated the state. FOX31 asked viewers if there were any myths about Coloradans that they'd like debunked, and while there were dozens to choose from, here are the five that came up the most often:1. According to a 2021 estimate by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, around 19% of Coloradans 18 and older had used marijuana in the past month. Colorado falling behind marijuana enforcement goals "I get asked all the time why did I move if weed is legal [in Colorado,]" one former Coloradan said. "It's because of the weed I had to move."2. That everyone drives or owns a SubaruViewers were quick to call this myth out, though there was some debate on what exactly the myth was."[A m...Latest news
